Matthew Rose

 

Matthew Rose is an HIV, AIDS, and social justice advocate working in federal health policy. He currently directs US Policy and Advocacy at Health Gap after serving as the Policy and Advocacy Manager for NMAC formerly known as the National Minority AIDS Council responsible for NMAC’s policy and advocacy portfolio. He supported and worked to develop and implement NMAC’s policy positions on federal appropriations and authorization legislation related to HIV/AIDS and health disparities. Matthew was a volunteer in the HVTN 505 trial and spoke out publicly about his experience and motivations for enrolling in the trial. Matthew is currently the community co-chair of the Microbicide Trial Network.
